Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Services
We provide residential plumbing services including, without limitation, repairs, installations, maintenance, diagnostic services, and emergency services (e.g., electric water heater replacement, drain cleaning, leak repairs, and pipe repairs). Services are performed in accordance with applicable codes and local requirements, including the Florida Building Code – Plumbing (current applicable edition) and any local amendments.
Scope is limited to what is specifically described in the estimate/work order. Anything not expressly included is excluded unless approved in writing.
2. Service Requests and Scheduling
-
Services may be requested by phone, email, or our website.
-
Same-day service may be available subject to scheduling and technician availability.
-
Appointment times are estimated windows. We may reschedule due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, traffic, equipment issues, technician illness, supply delays). Reasonable notice will be provided when possible.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Upfront / Flat-Rate Pricing
We provide pricing prior to work beginning. We commonly use a flat-rate model, meaning the quoted price includes labor and standard materials typically required for the stated scope, unless otherwise noted.
Hidden conditions / additional work: Plumbing work may reveal concealed conditions (behind walls, underground, in slabs, corrosion, code noncompliance, prior improper repairs). If additional work is required, we will explain the condition and provide revised pricing. No additional work will be performed without your approval.
3.2 Service Dispatch / Trip Fee
Each service visit includes a Service Dispatch / Trip Fee to cover scheduling, travel time, vehicle, fuel, and mobilization. This fee is disclosed at booking or in your estimate and is earned once a technician is dispatched. It is non-refundable if you choose not to proceed with recommended work, unless we agree otherwise in writing or a specific promotion states otherwise.
3.3 System Diagnostic Fee
Certain issues require testing and professional evaluation. When applicable, we may charge a System Diagnostic Fee for inspection, testing, and presenting repair options. This fee is due once the diagnostic is performed, even if you decline repairs. If we explicitly state in writing (estimate/promotion) that the diagnostic fee will be credited toward the repair, then it will be credited only under those stated conditions.
3.4 Deposits and Final Payment
-
A deposit of up to 50% may be required for larger projects or special-order materials.
-
Deposits secure labor, scheduling, and materials and may be applied to costs incurred if the job is cancelled after materials are ordered or labor is allocated.
-
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the service.
3.5 Payment Methods, Returned Payments, and Late Fees
We accept cash, major credit cards, and approved third-party financing (if offered). Returned or declined payments may be subject to a returned payment fee. Overdue invoices may incur a late charge of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by Florida law, whichever is less, plus reasonable costs of collection as permitted by law.
3.6 Promotional Offers
Promotions and discounts are subject to specific written terms and may not be combined unless explicitly stated. Unless otherwise stated in writing, the promotion referenced herein expires on August 30, 2026.
4. Financing Options (Third Party)
We may refer customers to third-party financing providers. Financing is subject to credit approval and the provider’s terms. The Company is not responsible for approval decisions, interest rates, fees, or any terms imposed by third-party providers.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
-
Provide safe, clear access to the work area and ensure it is free of hazards.
-
Disclose known issues (prior leaks, prior repairs, existing damage, water quality/pressure concerns).
-
Secure pets and supervise minors during the visit.
-
Provide access to the property (including gates, HOA requirements, parking instructions).
-
Ensure utilities (water/electric) are available if required for testing or operation.
6. Permits, Inspections, and Code Compliance
Where permits or inspections are required, the parties will follow local requirements. Unless stated otherwise in the written estimate/work order:
-
Permit and inspection fees are not included in the quoted price.
-
If the Customer requests work to proceed without required permits, the Company may refuse service.
-
Delays caused by lack of access for inspections or site readiness may result in additional trip charges.
7. Work Area, Access Openings, and Repairs to Finishes
Plumbing repairs may require access openings in walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, or exterior surfaces. Unless expressly stated in writing, patching/repair of finishes (drywall, paint, texture, tile, flooring, cabinetry, landscaping, or concrete restoration) is not included.
8. Warranties and Guarantees
8.1 Workmanship Warranty
We warrant our labor for 180 days from the date of service against defects caused solely by our workmanship. This warranty does not cover issues due to:
-
Misuse, neglect, abuse, or lack of maintenance
-
Customer modifications or third-party work
-
Pre-existing conditions or concealed defects
-
Corrosion, scale, water chemistry issues, excessive water pressure, or environmental causes
-
Drain stoppages caused by foreign objects, roots, structural defects, or recurring system conditions not corrected within the approved scope
8.2 Manufacturer Warranties
Parts and equipment are covered by applicable manufacturer warranties. We may assist with warranty claims when practicable, but we are not responsible for manufacturer defects beyond facilitating documentation and/or installation information.
8.3 Satisfaction Commitment
If you are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of service completion. We will evaluate the concern and, if within our responsibility and scope, we will make reasonable efforts to address it. This does not include requests outside scope or cosmetic restoration not included in the estimate.
9. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
-
We are not liable for damages arising from pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, or conditions outside the approved scope.
-
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
-
We are not responsible for consequential, incidental, special, or indirect damages (including loss of use), except where prohibited by law.
-
In emergencies, we will act reasonably to mitigate damage but are not liable for delays beyond our control (weather, supply chain, access restrictions, utility shutoffs).
10. Cancellation, No-Show, and Refunds
-
Cancellation: You may cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice at no cost. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a $50 fee.
-
No-show / No access: If we arrive and cannot access the property/work area, a trip/dispatch charge may apply.
-
Refunds: Refunds for prepaid services are issued at our discretion, less costs incurred (including materials ordered), within 30 days of cancellation where applicable.
11. Maintenance Plans
Under review. If a maintenance plan is offered, its terms will be provided separately and will govern.
12. Safety and Conduct
Our technicians will take reasonable steps to protect the work area and leave it broom-clean. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if the environment is unsafe or if any person engages in abusive, harassing, or threatening behavior. In such cases, trip/dispatch and/or diagnostic fees may still apply.
13. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute shall be brought in the state courts (or, where applicable, federal courts) located in Collier County, Florida, unless otherwise required by law.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated with at least 15 days’ notice when feasible.
